What is sound therapy?

Sound therapy is a practice that uses sound vibrations to balance the mind and body. It is based on the idea that certain frequencies can help reduce stress, promote better sleep and harmonize vital energy. This method is used to treat various problems such as chronic pain, digestive disorders and emotion management.

The course of a session

**Welcome and preparation**
- I receive the participant and discuss with him in order to define his needs and objectives (stress reduction, improved sleep, emotion management, etc.).
- The session often takes place in a lying position, in comfortable clothing, sometimes with an eye mask or a blanket to facilitate relaxation.

**Preparation for relaxation**
- The session generally begins with breathing exercises accompanied by a short guided meditation to prepare the body and mind to welcome the sounds.

**Application of sounds and vibrations**
- Tibetan singing bowls are placed around the body or directly on certain areas. The vibrations emitted then pass through the body to vibrate each muscle and each organ. This deep massage acts on all the cells and provides an immediate feeling of calm.
- Weighted tuning forks, tuning forks for chakras, crystal bowls, Tibetan cymbals, chimes or shamanic drums... can also be used according to needs and to vary the frequencies.
- The sound vibrations are applied in a harmonious way, promoting entry into a state of deep relaxation and stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, responsible for relaxation.

**Sound immersion**
- During this phase, the sounds and vibrations envelop the participant. The frequencies and resonances allow to release tensions, to free emotional blockages and to harmonize the body's energies.

**Progressive return to wakefulness**
- The session ends with a gentle return to wakefulness, accompanied by a few minutes of silence to integrate the effects of the sounds.
- A final exchange allows feelings and experiences to be shared.

**Duration and effects felt**
- A session generally lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
- Effects can include deep relaxation, increased mental clarity, reduced stress and improved sleep quality.

Sound therapy can be practiced individually or in a group, and is intended for anyone wishing to improve their general well-being. It is not subject to any diagnosis
